It is best for sensitive skin and can be used to take off the gunk once you have shaved your face.

Aloe Vera Gel

How To Shave

First cleanse your face with a hydrating cleanser to remove any dirt or makeup. This will help open your pores for shaving. Apply your facial oil/aloe vera gel and get ready to shave.

Apply a light layer of aloe vera gel on one side of the face first. Make sure there is enough for the razor to glide gently on your skin and prevent any irritation.

Hold your razor at a 45 degree angle and pull your skin taut with the opposite hand. Start your shave with the wide blade and shave the larger areas of your face.(eg. cheeks and forehead).

Shave slowly in short, steady strokes and in the direction of the hair growth as this will prevent stubble growth. After a few strokes, clean your blade using your gunk pad. Keep shaving your cheeks and forehead with the wide blade until there is no more hair left.

Once you have finished with the larger areas of the face, it is time to move on to the smaller areas.

Use your petite blade to shave around your eyebrows. (This may need some experience). After you are done with this section, move onto your upper lip region and around your nostrils.

Once you are finished with the petite blade, swap over to the wide blade and shave the other side of your face using the same techniques. Don't forget to clean your blade as you go and make sure to be gentle with your skin. Do not shave over active acne as it will open your skin up to infection and instead shave around it.

Wash your face with water to get rid of any gunk left. Dry your face using a soft towel. Apply a thin layer of moisturizer or facial oil, (preferably alcohol-free) and gently message it onto your skin.

And you are done!

The next time you apply makeup, you will be surprised at how smooth the application is and you will never be faced with cakey makeup ever again.

Cakey vs Smooth makeup

The appearance of makeup can often become cakey and noticeable when applied to an unshaved face. However, the results are completely different when you choose to shave your face. Discover the magic of a clean and smooth canvas that provides the perfect base for your makeup, resulting in a flawless finish like never before through shaving.

FAQ's

Can I still shave If I have acne?

Acne is unique to every individual. You should never shave directly over open/active acne as that is likely to spread bacteria and cause inflammation. Shaving around acne is our best suggestion, or completely avoiding areas with more acne.

You should never shave off the top of pimples as it won’t help them clear faster. Instead, it will open your skin up to infection and possible scars.

This is not to say that you should not shave overall, it can be beneficial to help fight your acne scars as well as prevent new acne from forming due to the exfoliation/enhancement of other products. We recommend you simply do a patch test on a part of your face and see the results for yourself.

Will my hair grow back thicker or stronger?

No, shaving your facial hair doesn't change its thickness, colour, or rate of growth. Since the razor is not touching or changing your natural keratin cells (the roots), thus it would be impossible for shaving to have an effect on this.

We advise to shave with the direction of your hair growth however if you accidentally do not you may give the hair a blunt tip. The tip might feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, the hair might be more noticeable and perhaps appear darker or thicker — but it's not.

How often should I shave?

This depends per person; however, we recommend to shave every two weeks or as needed based on your natural hair growth.

Making this a regular part of your skincare routine is important so that you can get all the benefits face shaving offers, such as glowing skin, smooth makeup application and exfoliation.

Maintaining a glowy skin requires consistency rather than a one-off solution. Shaving regularly boosts the effects of your entire routine.

By taking your time when shaving and by allowing the experience to be more of a pleasure than a chore, you will soon notice the effects of clear and great looking skin.

When should I shave?

We recommend you shave right before you go to bed. As you sleep, fluid and blood accumulate in your head due to laying horizontal for 7+ hours.

First thing in the morning is the absolute worst time to shave your face.

Make sure to not put any skincare products that may contain alcohol on your face after you shave as it will lead to skin irritation.

How many times can I use my razor?

We recommend you to not use the same razor more than two times as it might carry unwanted bacteria which could cause acne or inflammation.

What are each razor head for?

Use the petite blade for brows, temples, and upper lips. And use the wide blade for cheeks, forehead, and jawline.
