FAQ'S

Will my hair grow back darker or stronger?

No, shaving hair doesn't change its thickness, colour, or rate of growth. Since the razor is not touching or changing your natural keratin cells (the roots), thus it would be impossible for shaving to have an effect on this.

We advise to shave with the direction of your hair growth however if you accidentally do not you may give the hair a blunt tip. The tip might feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, the hair might be more noticeable and perhaps appear darker or thicker — but it's not.

Can I still shave if I have acne?

Acne is unique to every individual. You should never shave directly over open/active acne as that is likely to spread bacteria and cause inflammation. Shaving around acne is our best suggestion, or completely avoiding areas with more acne.

You should never shave off the top of pimples as it won’t help them clear faster. Instead, it will open your skin up to infection and possible scars.

This is not to say that you should not shave overall, it can be beneficial to help fight your acne scars as well as prevent new acne from forming due to the exfoliation/enhancement of other products. We recommend you simply do a patch test on a part of your face and see the results for yourself.

How often should I shave?

This depends per person; however, our suggestion is to shave every two weeks or as needed based on your natural hair growth/frequency of makeup application.

Making this a regular part of your skincare routine is important so that you can get all the benefits face shaving offers, such as glowing skin, smooth makeup application and exfoliation.

Maintaining a glowy skin requires consistency rather than a one-off solution. Shaving regularly boosts the effects of your entire routine.

By taking your time when shaving and by allowing the experience to be more of a pleasure than a chore, you will soon notice the effects of clear and great looking skin.

How many times can I use my razor?

We recommend you to not use the same razor more than twice as it might carry unwanted bacteria which could cause acne or inflammation.

What are each razor head for?

We suggest using the petite blade for brows, temples, and upper lips. And use the wide blade for cheeks, forehead, and jawline.

When should I shave?

We recommend you shave right before you go to bed. As you sleep, fluid and blood accumulate in your head due to laying horizontal for 7+ hours. First thing in the morning is the absolute worst time to shave your face. Make sure to not put any skincare products that may contain alcohol on your face after shave as it will lead to skin irritation.

Does shaving reduce wrinkles?

While shaving the face exfoliates the skin and may brighten the skin temporarily, shaving is unlikely to have any long-term anti-ageing effects. But shaving and using anti-aging effects will definitely have an effect on reducing your wrinkles.
